About the Studio

Artztudio is now 2 fully modern studios featuring the latest in hardware technology will insure that the work being produced is of the highest quality possible. The latest addition is the studio in downtown Chemainus.

• This studio uses a Mac Book Pro intel machine with three screen capabilities and emulation for PC (via Paralells Desktop for testing in Windows XP. This studio is used primarily for newspaper ad production and Web site development.  Printing and scanning is done on an Brothers 6490CW which is also used as a fax imput.

• Software includes Final Cut Studio 4, Adobe Creative Suite 4, Cinema 4D, Modo, Motor, Mocha and many others to numerous to mention.

• The home studio uses a iMac intel machine with two screen capabilities and a HP PC for testing in Windows Vista. Dazzle's Hollywood Bridge is used to provide input and output to a 20" Toshiba for proofing video on a TV. Other hardware used is Elgato's Turbo.264 hardware compressor for iTV and iTunes, another iMac,  a G4 and a miniMac for a render farm. Printing and scanning is done on an Epson CX5400 and an Epson R380 for imprinting DV disks. Audio is captured with a Samson USB mike.

• Video capabilities include a Canon HV30 HD and a Nikon D60 for stills and VR work.
